The Horseware Liners are made with a super light polyester outer and lining, with fibrefill for warmth. Choose the weight that suits your horse and the conditions.
Horseware designed the original Liner system in the early 2000’s, and it has evolved into a super easy and convenient system to provide better insulation for your horse, while maintaining comfort and movement by reducing the weight of layered rugs and straps on your horse.

The liner attaches by Velcro loops to the neck area of the outer rug, and clips onto the back corners to prevent the liner from slipping.
Liners can be easily washed in a domestic washing machine.
The liner can be attached to a large selection of Horseware Ireland rugs (look for Liner System Compatible in the description) that have a Velcro loop attachment system around the neck area and clips in the back corner of the outer rug. The attachments prevent the liner from slipping or moving when attached at the 4 points. It is a simple system which gives your rug superior insulation properties without the expense or inconvenience of using two separate rugs.

I purchased this liner 4 weeks ago. It is light and easy to handle.
Fits the horse beautifully and he feels very snug and warm.
Horse must feel better having lighter liner to carry round than another heavy underneath rug.
